James is a Chartered Professional Accountant with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor. He has over twenty-five years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management with both public and private corporations. A senior financial leader who has worked across organizations, with cross-functional teams, collaborating with personnel from the operations level to senior executives.
James first joined the Niagara Alcohol and Drugs Assessment Service Board of Directors in 2003 and was a member of the steering committee established to merge the organization with the Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centre, becoming what is now known as Community Addictions Services of Niagara. James has also been member of the Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House, the Hamilton Association of Chartered Accountants and has volunteered with the United Way.
James brings to the Board experience in the areas of Finance, IT, Strategic Planning and Board governance. He is extremely honoured and proud to be able to contribute to his community as a member of such an important and well respected organization.
